Our beliefs are at the premises of our actions which are formed when we "assimilate" or make sense of our experiences, then "accommodate" or develop a new mental map. Our underlying beliefs are held in our subconscious mind which is a million times more powerful than our conscious mind through habit formation. I believe we all have skills and/or talents; no one has an individualized life purpose, instead we depend on one another, and we are all driven to live and experience life in its entirety.
I identify myself as a secular agnostic humanist. To me, that means contributing to the success of our human race for the sake of maximizing and maintaining our well-being. I am a part of the humanitarian movement that helps maximize benefits and minimizes harm to individuals and society, by practicing the positive, secular human values of reason, compassion, and hope. My teleology is to increase the likelihood, strength, and effectiveness of our core human values. |
I am a blind fish. Through darkness or ignorance, I have gained insights and multiple perspectives. I am a truth seeker that uses the mind's eye, components of the imagination (e.g., mental imagery, symbolic representation, and/or abstract thought), to manifest good objective ideas. As a humanist and truth seeker, I am illuminating the dark and inspiring humanity towards the greater good.
I am an eagle; I am a highflyer! I take the long view to get the big picture and see how it relates to humanity and the greater good. I desire something higher than immediate desires. And as an abstract thinker, I think creatively (or with ingenuity), after absorbing empirical data and making wider-world, meaningful connections. I am life! I am an interconnected energy; therefore, I am reflective fractals of everything I have absorbed. I am a squid; I am a mirror neuron and the 'Three of Hearts'. As a result, I am diplomatic and driven while tackling creative endeavors! I am like a chameleon...
