The Transmission of Ideas: From Concepts to Imagery |
About Eudaimonia and MelissAllegories

Today, art is often linked to fun, pleasure, and entertainment, embodying leisure, indulgence, and personal enjoyment—a notable shift since the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Since then, the purpose of fine arts has shifted, with art being heavily utilized to entertain, delight, and decorate, seamlessly aligning with the social lives of those hosting gatherings, dinners, and parties adorned with such works. People began to indulge in playful artistic elements for enjoyment and pleasure, appreciating art for its aesthetics and emotional appeal rather than its traditional symbolic functions.
With a contemporary and secular spiritual approach, we are revitalizing its symbolic functions! Our style is contemporary with prehistoric and ancient influences. It is a more graphic and illustrative style, contemporary in nature, while drawing inspiration from ancient works. Prestige artworks before the Renaissance period, such as medieval art, as well as prehistoric Egyptian and cave art, were abstract and allegorical, conveying multiple meanings within a generalized concept.

MelissAllegories conveys multiple messages through a narrative, whereas Eudaimonia focuses on a single idea or generalized concept. The focus lies on its concept and symbolic functions, rather than solely admiring its aesthetics and emotional appeal. The concept always weighs more, with an intriguing style composed of patterns, shapes, lines, and repetition. It’s innovative in its combination of various styles to create something new and unique. We use representational imagery that is mathematically aligned with aerial (and sometimes linear) perspective, or simply flat, like literature.
We are taking a more commercialized approach that resonates with artists such as Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, and Takashi Murakami. With forward thinking on how to use assets for potential community outreach projects, we are adopting a top-down approach for business growth and to inspire notions of self-actualization, personal development, and human flourishing. Art has always been a tool or source for visual stories, transmitting ideas from one generation to another, and we look forward to sharing that with you.
